Volunteering in Grand Terrace        Art Show

Helping Your Community

The City of Grand Terrace has been fortunate to have had several generous
people volunteer their time over the years since the City was incorporated in 1978.  City volunteers help improve the level of service provided to Grand Terrace residents, therefore improving the high quality of life that Grand Terrace residents experience. Volunteers are a tremendous asset to the community.  During these times of diminishing financial resources, volunteers enrich the community by
volunteering their time and sharing their talents or skills.

In 2007 there were over 200 volunteers who donated over 8 hours a month to the City.  It is estimated that their contributions to the City has a value of about $336,000 throughout the year.  Grand Terrace is grateful to have such a giving community.  With such a heartfelt hometown feel, it is very appropriate that Money Magazine named the City one of America’s Top 100 Places to Live in 2007.
